Seeking out great wines can feel like a bit of a gamble, but it shouldn’t be. Our mission as one of Napa’s newest boutique wineries is to grow wines that carry a strong reflection of the vintage and place they are grown. Sharing our story, experience, passion and meeting new friends is why we started The Over Under Wine Company.
Taylor's life has always revolved around precision farming and the outdoors. His focus over the past seven years has been promoting and growing great wines in Napa Valley's newest AVA, Coombsville. Launching Over/Under has given him the opportunity to partner with the some of the industry’s most skilled winegrowers and brilliant winemaking talent. A lifelong Aggie and native Texan, if you hear a loud “Howdy” echoing through our tasting space, it’s probably him.
TAYLOR MARTIN
Sara is from Cary, NC. She attended Appalachian State University and moved to Charlotte after graduating. There, Sara met Taylor and after spending three fantastic years in Charlotte, they got engaged and headed West. They landed in Napa, CA in 2016 where Sara quickly learned the intricacies of winery finance and California HR policy. Sara and Taylor welcomed their first daughter in early 2017 and their second daughter in 2019. Sara’s biggest passion is being a mom, but bonding with other moms over a bottle of great Cabernet Franc is a close second.
SARA MARTIN
Matt is a Napa native through and through and fondly remembers growing up in Coombsville, riding his bike around his family property and developing a passion for wine. He currently works full time in sales, yet still manages to fulfill his lifelong dream of being a winery owner. Matt and Taylor met in 2017, and with an instant connection and expansive wine knowledge between them, they knew they had a great idea and brand in Over/Under.
MATT BRADY
Tami grew up two hours south of Napa, and received her undergraduate degree in Sonoma County and Masters Degree in Oakland. Her primary knowledge is of medicine and she works locally in Napa as a PA. Her knowledge of wine came from good ol' fashioned wine tasting and fun Napa outings with her husband, Matt, and friends. After meeting in 2017, Tami and Sara bonded over motherhood, among many other things, and their friendship blossomed. Not only is Tami excited to be part of this adventure with some great friends, she is more excited to expand her wine knowledge and support a dream come true for her husband, Matt.
